Professor Holman has been at UCSC for over 25 years and in this time he has mentored 76 undergraduate students, 25 graduate students, and 9 post-doctorate fellows. He is strongly dedicated to outreach and diversifying our chemistry community and for the past 11 years, he has been the UCSC director of the California Alliance for Minority Participation (CAMP) in science. This program helps first-generation and underrepresented students gain access to cutting-edge research and build their confidence to continue in careers in science.
